Position Description

Reporting to our CTO, this position covers a broad range of activities, so flexibility is key.  You will have responsibility for maintaining and supporting all internal systems such as Exchange, Windows file servers, and employee workstations.  In addition, you will have a unique opportunity to learn our products and manage national networks of in-store interactive screens.  You will install, configure, deploy, and monitor our systems for major retail clients.  Finally, you will assist in the testing of our systems before major client deliveries.  Occasional travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain our Intava Sphira™ and Intava Vector™ products on internal and client hardware
• Install and maintain all production datacenter hardware and software
• Maintain all internal systems, including Exchange, Windows file servers, and employee workstations (both Windows and Mac)
• Assist clients with the development of loadsets for installation in their retail stores
• Test custom client solutions

  Qualifications

• 3+ years experience maintaining most Windows-based server technologies
• 2+ years experience administering Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server 2003/2008
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, switching, routing, and VPNs
• A testing background with the ability to execute software test plans
• Familiarity with Bugzilla a plus
• Good interpersonal skills, comfortable talking to clients
• Good written communication skills with a strong desire to document work
• Highly organized

Compensation

This is a contract-to-hire position.  We offer a competitive hourly rate.  A successful candidate can expect to eventually be hired full-time, which will include benefits.
